On The Songahm Spirit of Taekwondo (# 3)

One of the basic tenets of Songahm Taekwondo is courtesy. Courtesy can be defined as polite behavior that shows respect for others. In our oath, we promise to treat our fellow students in a polite way, in the manner we ourselves would like to be treated. That same courtesy should be practiced not only in the dojang, but in our daily lives. In showing courtesy to others, even those deemed undeserving of such, we define ourselves as people beholden to a higher standard of conduct, and hopefully inspire others to achieve the same.
